The Frankie Hill TrickFrom: Jason Powell; [email protected] Hi. I liked your site. I'm not great, but I have been skating for 13 years. These are some of my favorite tricks. To the spectator it looks really difficult, but actually they are pretty easy to pull off: THE FRANKIE HILL TRICK: 1. Place your feet on the board like you would for a no comply, front foot near the nose toward the heel edge, back foot on the tail. Your non-leading hand (right hand for reg, left if your goofy) should be waiting to grab the board around your back leg on the heel rail (a stalefish grab). 2. Do a no comply. As the board pops up, grab it, keeping your back foot on the tail while standing on your front foot. 3. Turn the board 360. Because of the unusual grab, it may feel funny cuz you are pulling the board behind you. But as it comes around... 4. Jump off your front foot, let go and land it. This is not very hard, but both skating and nonskating spectators will be wowed cuz it just looks so wierd they will think you are really good. But you arent.
